About
An independent field guide to AI email marketing
Cadence exists because choosing an email platform got harder, not easier. A new wave of AI-native tools rebuilt email creation around generation, while incumbents bolted AI onto mature products — and at the same time, mailbox providers turned deliverability into a hard compliance floor. Practitioners needed a neutral place to make sense of it.
We publish long-form guides, honest tool reviews, and head-to-head comparisons — covering deliverability, automation, and on-brand AI generation. The goal is simple: be the resource we wished existed when we were evaluating tools ourselves.
How we rate
Ratings are editorial. We test tools on real brands and workflows, read the documentation and pricing, and cross-check against independent analyses. We weigh six things: generation and design quality, automation depth, deliverability defaults, analytics, value for money, and how well the tool fits its stated audience. We're explicit about who each tool is for — there is no single “best” platform, only the best fit for your team.
Independent and reader-first
Cadence is not a vendor blog. Coverage is editorial, not sponsored, and we say so plainly. Our job is to help you choose well — not to sell you anything.
Grounded in sources
Every guide and review links to primary sources: vendor documentation, pricing pages, mailbox-provider rules, and independent analyses. We avoid fabricated statistics and cite what we can verify.
Fair to every tool
We cover rising AI-native platforms and established incumbents with the same standard. Credibility comes from getting the trade-offs right, not from picking favorites.
